Sitting on the corner of my bed, that night - I said to my husband " I can't do this. I can't trample my soul, just to sell." I am glad I woke up with a new decision. To MASTER selling by being myself.
My rebellious spirit was determined to find a way to master sales without turning myself into a monster.
If you turn back a few pages of my life - you'd have found me I surrounded by aggressive bro marketers, sitting in a high rise building, a glossy office.
My title said Head of Marketing & I was sinking in my heart.
Because what I was doing did not feel aligned with my values and integrity. Day after Day.
Also, I realised how much I was a slave to that job and paycheck.
I knew - I was not born to be chained. I was born to be free.
Growing up, I rarely saw any woman as a trailblazers - but I knew I was born to redefine success my way.
As a seasoned brand & marketing manager for a national powerhouse, I absorbed the art of crafting and promoting a brand with finesse. That was the gift I guess. Those invaluable lessons became the bedrock of my extraordinary journey—a journey marked by authenticity, and creating a business of my dreams.
But I'd only realise this later on - when I'd connect the dots backwards. Before that would happen....there was another big leap I had to prepare myself for.
In the next chapter I became a mom, with an exitential crisis. Not knowing how to raise a neuro divergent child - defying all the labels society forces on us.
In that process, I realised - I was meant for that job. Infact I was the best at it. With my defiance, independent thinking - I made sure my son will remain oblivious to the the tiny boxes of stereotypes.
He ignited the fire to create my own business even further.
It was a demanding period. I would study and research about business in my spare time. I was lost like a boat without a rudder.
I was depressed. My marriage was at the brink of falling apart.
My life was scattered in front of me - like tiny glass pieces. I didn't know how to pick up those pieces.
But...a soft voice in me kept whispering - I am made for more.
I dedicated myself to living my best life. That's when I found coaching. I turned my life into a magical fairy tale.
I started to research and experiment. I bought a franchise business with my husband. I turned it into a top selling store in the state. I created art business. I sold artwork worth thousands within an hour in my first exhibition. I started photography business. Booked out in a month.
Drawing on my previous marketing, brand management wisdom, I reclaimed myself as an industry authority. I didn't just sell—I educated, inspired, and solved real problems for my people. Step by Step. My clients didn't just buy products; I created an experience tailored to their needs and dreams.
I used all of those lessons from previous marketing, selling and business - to cracking the code to high-ticket sales in coaching. It wasn't just a triumph; it was a validation of my gifts as a copywriter, understanding sales psychology and sales strategy.
The process of mastering the sales in different businesses became my superpower. And a path to healing.
